Tiny Tikes and PreK

At The OLC School we offer four preschool programs: Tiny Tikes, Bridge, Pre-K 3 and Pre-K 4. Tiny Tikes is for our two-year-old students. The Bridge Program is for students who are turning 3 between October 2, 2024- December, 31, 2024. They are too young for the PreK 3 program, but too old for the Tiny Tike program. Pre-K 3 is for students who turn 3 by October 1st, and Pre-K 4 is for students who turn 4 by October 1st. All programs are taught by certified teachers who are thoroughly trained in early childhood education. Please find more information below.

Philosophy and Curriculum

At OLC we focus on the physical, cognitive, and social emotional learning for the total development of your child.

Both preschool programs implement The Creative Curriculum® for Preschool. The Creative Curriculum® for Preschool is one of the most widely used Pre-K curricula in the nation. It’s comprehensive and research-based and features exploration and discovery as a way of learning. The Creative Curriculum has been proven to increase kindergarten readiness and is aligned to all state early learning guidelines.

Enrollment and Registration Requirements

• Age 2, 3 years or 4 years by October 1st 
• Potty trained is encouraged (for PreK 3 and mandatory for PreK 4)
• During the enrollment process, your child will be evaluated by a preschool teacher

The school day is from 8:00am - 2:45pm. We offer before and after care, which extends the day from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm.
