About the Teachers and Instructional Aides

Caring, Sharing, Laughing, Playing, and Learning!

Welcome to the Tiny Tikes Program!

Lauren Murduca
For the past fifteen years, I have been teaching in the preschool of The OLC School in the Mommy & Me, Toddler Two, Tiny Tikes, Pre-K 3, and Pre-K 4 Programs.  I received a New Jersey Early Childhood and Elementary Teaching Certification from New Jersey City University and two Montessori Teacher Diplomas in Infant/Toddlers/Twos (Ages 0-3) and in Preschool (Ages 3-5) from the North American Montessori Center.  In the years before I chose teaching as a career, I worked in an Engineering/Construction Company in NJ/NYC.

I am delighted to work with the youngest students in Little Harbor Academy.  It is truly fulfilling to watch these little toddlers enter school with caution, and eventually make new friends, enjoy their preschool environment, and become excited about learning.  I am confident that you and your child will have a first school year experience that you will cherish forever!

I have been working at The OLC School for the past fifteen years.  My experience has been in Toddler Two, Transitional Three, Pre-K 3, Pre-K 4, Kindergarten and teaching Spanish from the Toddler Two through Grade 8, in addition to receiving my Montessori Teacher Diploma in Preschool.  I am truly excited to share my passion and knowledge with your children and prepare them for their future journey as lifelong learners.

It is our pleasure to work with the following instructional aides this school year:

Mrs. Toni Ann Valentini has worked for the past ten years in the Toddler Two, Tiny Tikes, and Transitional Three Programs as an instructional aide.  She shares her gifts of kindness and understanding while nurturing the youngest of the LHA students.

Ms. Helen Fontanez is beginning her first year at The OLC School as an instructional aide.  She has worked for the past 12 years at 2 private schools located in Hudson County.  She shares her experience and love of young children with our adorable Tiny Tikes students.
