About the Teacher and Instructional Aide

Danielle Erdahl

I believe that there should be joy in learning every single day.

Ukulele playing, singing, clapping, jumping, dancing, sensory exploration and nature happen in (and out of) my classroom daily.

I graduated from Florida State University. I moved to Clermont-Ferrand, France where I taught English as a second language in the French public schools. Then, I taught in Miami-Dade County public schools for several years before moving to the NYC area in 2010.

Preschool is my absolute favorite place to be! I love playing music, learning with puppets (like Betsey our book monster!) and exploring the world through a small child's perspective! It's the best!

Roseann Sowinski

My name is Roseann Sowinski, better known as Mrs. Roseann. I have worked in Pre-K 3 and Pre-K 4 at Little Harbour Academy as an instructional aide for the past 9 years. Before joining OLC, I was employed at a private preschool and in Bayonne public schools for 20 years. I find my work as an instructional aide to be challenging, but very rewarding!
